Kindergarten at Happy Days
Funded & Non-Funded Kindergarten
Happy Days Early Learning proudly offers both funded and non-funded 4-Year-Old Kindergarten places, providing families with flexible options to suit their individual needs. Our Kindergarten Program is led by qualified Early Childhood Teachers and is designed to support every child to become a confident, capable and engaged learner.
Through a balance of play-based learning, intentional teaching and child-led experiences, children develop the skills, knowledge and dispositions needed for a successful transition to school and lifelong learning.
Our kindergarten program focuses on:
School readiness and confidence
Literacy and language development
Early numeracy concepts
STEM learning experiences
Social and emotional development
Resilience and independence
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Children also benefit from our unique enrichment programs, including our Beach Kindergarten Program, dedicated Art Program with Merri, Sports Program with Victor and Sustainability & Gardening Program with Jill, providing additional opportunities to explore their interests and develop a broad range of skills.
At Happy Days, we recognise that every child learns differently. Our educators create responsive learning experiences that build on children's strengths, interests and emerging abilities while fostering a sense of belonging, curiosity and a love of learning.

School Readiness
Our School Readiness Program supports children to develop the confidence, independence and skills they need for a successful transition to primary school. Through play-based learning and intentional teaching, children build early literacy and numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, emotional regulation, resilience, communication and social confidence, preparing them for lifelong learning.
Intergenerational Program
Our Intergenerational Program provides children with opportunities to build meaningful connections with residents from our local aged care community. Through shared activities, conversations, celebrations and creative experiences, children develop empathy, respect and a sense of belonging, while fostering relationships that benefit both generations.
Kindergarten Graduation
Kindergarten Graduation is a special celebration of each child's early learning journey and achievements. This memorable event acknowledges the friendships, growth, accomplishments and school readiness skills children have developed throughout their time at Happy Days as they prepare for their exciting transition to primary school.
