The Happiness
Project
The Happiness Project is a unique part of life at Happy Days, bringing together creativity, movement and environmental awareness through our art, sports and sustainability programs. These experiences inspire children to explore their interests, build confidence, develop new skills and create meaningful connections with their community and the natural world, supporting their overall wellbeing and happiness.
Art with Merri
Creativity flourishes at Happy Days through our dedicated Art Program, led by Merri, who visits the centre regularly to inspire children through a wide range of creative experiences.
Children are encouraged to express themselves, explore different materials and techniques, and develop confidence in their own unique ideas. Through open-ended art experiences, children build creativity, fine motor skills, self-expression and problem-solving abilities while enjoying the joy of creating.
Sports with Victor
Our weekly Sports Program is delivered by Victor from Playball, who brings energy, enthusiasm and fun to every session. Through structured games and movement experiences, children develop gross motor skills, coordination, balance, teamwork and confidence. Victor's engaging program helps children build healthy habits, resilience and a love of physical activity while supporting their overall health and wellbeing.
Sustainability & Gardening Program with Jill
Our Sustainability and Gardening Program is guided by Jill, our dedicated Sustainability Consultant, who works alongside children to foster a love of nature and environmental responsibility. Through gardening, caring for our worm farm, recycling initiatives and hands-on sustainability projects, children develop an understanding of how they can care for the world around them. These meaningful experiences inspire curiosity, respect for the environment and a lifelong connection to sustainable living.
